What is a cylindrical filter?

Cylindrical air filters are generally used in household purifiers, and the outer frame is generally made of ABS plastic, with stable structure, stable performance, and not easy to deform. The cylindrical air filter generally adopts a composite form, which is generally divided into three layers, the initial effect layer, the hepa layer, and the activated carbon layer, which achieves the effect of dust removal and odor removal.
The primary effect layer generally uses nylon mesh or paint mesh, which makes the structure of the filter more stable, and the outer layer can well filter coarse dust pollutants with large apertures such as wool, which can prolong the service life of the hepa layer, generally 3~ At 4 months, you can take out the cylindrical filter from the air purifier, and use a softer brush to brush off the dust on the outer layer to avoid the weakening of the air purifier's purification effect. Of course, due to the limitation of the materials used, it cannot be washed with water. The hepa layer is also a level with high dust removal efficiency, which can purify and filter particulate pollutants with a diameter of 0.5 microns and above. Of course, the materials of HEPA filters are also divided into many kinds:
1. Melt-blown non-woven composite materials have the advantages of low resistance and high efficiency, but they are afraid of encountering organic volatile substances such as alcohol, which will cause static attenuation and reduce efficiency. Commonly used in building ventilation and air conditioning purification.
2. Glass fiber material, high material efficiency, high resistance, good material stability, suitable for various scenarios with large air volume, such as hospitals, medicine, clean rooms, semiconductors, etc.
3. PTFE material is a nano-scale material, with high material efficiency, resistance between glass fiber and meltblown, afraid of static electricity, commonly used in the semiconductor industry, vacuum cleaner equipment, etc.
Appropriate materials can be selected according to the usage scenario. Air purifier filters generally use meltblown non-woven composite materials.
The activated carbon layer mainly uses activated carbon particles, and the adsorption of activated carbon particles can effectively remove harmful gas pollutants such as formaldehyde and odor.
