What is Activated Carbon air Filters
Activated Carbon air filters are air filters that utilize activated carbon to absorb and remove odors, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other pollutants from the air. Activated carbon is a highly porous material with a large surface area, which makes it highly effective at adsorbing (i.e., removing) impurities from the air as it passes through the filter. These filters are commonly used in air purifiers and air conditioning systems.
How to Activated Carbon air Filters
Activated carbon air filters work through a process called adsorption, which involves the removal of impurities from the air as it passes through the filter. This is achieved as follows:
Air is drawn through the filter, which contains activated carbon.
The activated carbon, which has a large surface area, attracts and binds to impurities, such as odors, chemicals, and VOCs, in the air.
The purified air then exits the filter.
Note that activated carbon air filters may need to be replaced periodically, depending on the frequency of use and the level of pollutants in the air. It is recommended to follow the China activated carbon air filters manufacturers guidelines for replacement.
